Update on East Kent rheumatology service

From 1 April 2025, Connect Health will no longer provide community rheumatology services in East Kent.
Our contract has not been renewed by Kent and Medway ICB – and a new provider has not yet been identified by the local commissioners.
As a result, all patient care will be transferred to your GP. To ensure safe transfer, we will be providing individual patient clinic letters to GPs. This will include a patient outcome/plan that they can progress with you.
We understand this may be an unsettling change, and we have worked with the relevant teams to ensure a smooth transition of care.
If you are experiencing a flare in your symptoms or if you were due a routine review after 31 March 2025, please contact your GP for further advice and support.
