Connect Health is proud to have won the ‘Excellence in Clinical Innovation’ award at the HSJ Independent Healthcare Providers Awards in recognition of an outstanding dedication to support of the NHS and improvement in healthcare services.
The winners were announced during a ceremony held in London on 20 March 2025. The event was incorporated into the HSJ Partnership Awards and over 1200 attendees gathered to celebrate and recognise the invaluable contributions of IHPs to the NHS.
The judging panel was made up of more than 70 highly influential and respected figures within the healthcare community. All finalists and winners were judged against 5 clear criteria: ambition; outcome; spread; value and involvement.
Judges said: [Connect Health’s] data-driven approach and seamless integration of digital therapeutics into clinical pathways stood out, along with a clear vision for the initiative’s wider reach. Connect Health created a fit-for-future sustainable model of MSK care that maximises productivity and clinician experience through innovations in digital technology, and scalable solutions for demedicalising MSK health and self-management.
Dr Andrew Cuff, Director of Clinical Strategy said: “We’re thrilled with this national recognition for our work to apply innovation to enhance our service pathways and ways of working – our model drives efficiency, improves sustainability, and, crucially, improves patient choice, experience and outcomes.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of so many of our colleagues across clinical delivery and various support functions including IM&T, People and PCC. It truly was a team effort! Congratulations to everyone involved – winning this prestigious national award is an achievement we can all be immensely proud of.”
