This session is part of a wider series of national events to provide support to NHS commissioners in delivering evidence-based MSK pathways with a particular focus on:
• Understand the changing commissioning landscape and the impact of Primary Care Networks and Integrated Care Systems on the prevention agenda
• Debate the challenges of developing MSK services to meet the needs of patients and taxpayers
• Hear about potential solutions experienced and outlined by CCGs who have done it
• Network with other CCGs and health professionals, to share problems and solutions
There are 17.8 million people in the UK living with an MSK condition – more than one in every four people. The impact of MSK conditions is often underestimated, but they are the single biggest cause of disability in the UK, and often have profound personal and societal implications.
There are many events that describe the physiotherapy evidence base and others that focus on best practice. This event brings the two together giving you the very best in how to commission evidence-based MSK pathways.
This event is intended to support NHS organisations plan and deliver appropriate and effective musculoskeletal (MSK) services to their local population.
